Toolosity

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Toolosity (“we”, “us”) collects when you use our website and tools, and how it is handled. The short version: your files never leave your device, and we collect as little as possible.

Your files are never uploaded

Every tool on Toolosity runs entirely on your own device. When you select a file to trim, compress, convert, resize, mute, or extract audio from, that file is processed locally in your browser and is never sent to us or any server. We do not receive, see, store, or have any access to the contents of your files. When you close the tab, the file and its result are gone from memory.

No account required

You can use every tool without creating an account or providing any personal information such as your name or email address. We do not ask you to sign up.

Information we do collect

To keep the site running and improving, we and our partners may collect:

  • Analytics data, anonymous, aggregated usage such as which pages are visited, general location (country), device and browser type, and referring site. This helps us understand what is useful and is not tied to your identity.
  • Advertising data, this site is supported by advertising. Ad partners (for example, Google AdSense) may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads. See the “Cookies and advertising” section below.
  • Technical logs, standard server logs (such as IP address and request time) that our hosting provider records for security and reliability. We do not use these to identify you.

Cookies and advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and advertising. In particular:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
  • Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info/choices.
  • Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking cookies will not stop the tools from working, since the tools run locally regardless.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Because we do not collect personal files or account data, there is very little personal information for us to hold. For the limited analytics and advertising data described above, depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your data, or to opt out of its sale or sharing. You can exercise ad-related choices through the links above, and contact us for anything else.

Children

Toolosity is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
