add two or more PDFs — they merge in the order you choose

Private, nothing is uploaded

Runs entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded.

Join several PDFs into a single document, in whatever order you want. It's the quick way to combine a cover letter and a résumé, bundle scanned pages, or stitch chapters together, and it all happens in your browser with nothing uploaded.

Order is everything

The sequence of files in the list is the exact page order of the merged PDF, so arrange them before you merge. Use the up and down arrows to move a file; the first file's pages come first, then the second's, and so on. If you need a specific page from the middle of a long file to land in a particular spot, split that file first and add just the piece you need.

Quality and what's preserved

Merging copies each page as-is into the new document, so text stays selectable, images keep their resolution, and nothing is re-compressed or flattened. The combined file's size is roughly the sum of the originals. Password-protected PDFs can't be read without the password; remove the protection first, or the tool will skip any file it can't open and tell you which were left out.

Private by design

Because the merge runs entirely on your device, your documents never touch a server, which matters for contracts, statements, medical forms, or anything confidential you'd never want to upload to a random website. There's no account, no watermark on the output, and no limit on how many files you combine beyond your device's memory.

Tips

  • Arrange the files with the arrows before merging — the list order is the page order.
  • Need one page from a big file in the middle? Split it first, then add just that page.
  • Merging keeps text selectable and images sharp; nothing is re-compressed.
  • It all runs locally, so confidential PDFs never leave your device.

Questions

How do I merge PDF files for free?
Add two or more PDFs, arrange them with the arrows, and click Merge PDF. It runs in your browser, so there's no upload, account, or watermark.
Can I choose the order of the files?
Yes. The order in the list is the order of the pages in the merged PDF; use the up and down arrows to rearrange before merging.
Will merging reduce quality?
No. Pages are copied as-is, so text stays selectable and images keep their resolution. Nothing is re-compressed.
Are my PDFs uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything happens on your device, your files never leave the browser, and nothing is stored.
